Hello all! Sorry for the silence of late! We are in the thick of our fall release, and it's a goodie! But it's the biggest pattern we've done yet, so it appears to have taken all the blogging time! Here's a bit of news on what's been going on in the studio!
Lottie & Emery Printed Patterns Temporarily Out of Stock
If you hadn't already noticed, both Emery and Lottie are currently out of stock in print format. We are in the midst of changing a few things here on the business end with the way we print and ship our patterns, so there's a brief moment of lapse between what's in print and the new system. Apologies for that!
As always, don't forget that all our print patterns are available in PDF format, ready for you to buy and print at home 24/7, whenever you are ready. So if you don't want to wait, that's there for you!
Also, a lot of my retailers around the world have these patterns in stock, so if you prefer the printed pattern, check your local shop to see if they have it, or browse my retailer list to see about having one shipped to you.
Ellsworth Coat Coming Soon!
The cat's out of the bag and many of you now know that our next pattern is a coat that we have called the Ellsworth Coat. This is pretty much our dream coat and we hope you all love it as much as we do! The studio is filling up with gorgeous samples and there is a lot coming with this pattern. We are VERY excited about it all and cannot wait to share it with you. Soon...
#SewPhotoHop on Instagram
We are having fun playing along with the September Sew Photo Hop challenge on Instagram! If you are on Instagram, follow our feed for lots of inspiration and behind-the-scenes sneaks! We are also loving sharing quick bits on Instagram Stories, so look for our icon at the top of your feed!
Huge thanks to everyone that shopped my first round of studio destashing on Etsy! After going through this first batch, I'm honestly debating if it is worth the time and effort to host future sales in this way, or if I should host an in-person sale in my studio in Los Angeles. I'd love to hear your thoughts on that! If you're in the LA-area, would you be into coming to a sale in my apartment? Is that kinda special, or is that just plain weird?
I feel like it might be better for everyone (except for those of you far away) to just open the doors of my studio for you to buy what you like. Let me know in the comments if you have opinions on this! I will be moving my studio into a smaller space next year so there's a lot to get rid of to make that happen!
Finished Makes on Instagram
The best part of my job is seeing your finished makes! Some of the recent makes are pictured above. Each links to the maker's original post, so click on the image to see more information on their awesome garments! If you want to see more, be sure to browse the hashtags for the patterns. Lots are labeled with #christinehaynespatterns and the individual patterns have their own hashtags too. Note that not all items labeled with these hashtags are our patterns, especially the Chelsea and Derby, but the others are mostly dominated with images of your makes. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks again for all the support and we'll be back on Thursday as part of April Rhodes' Observer Fabric blog tour! See you then.
