I haven't done public pattern testing since the Emery Dress release, so when I launch a pattern there isn't the batch of 10+ bloggers all posting about their sewing experiences. I see enormous pros and cons with both doing and not doing this kind of public testing, but for sure one of the cons is that outside of my own projects and those worn by my models, we have to just sit back and wait for people to sew and post their finished projects on the web.
It's only been a handful of days since the release of the Rumi Tank, and I'm super happy that there are already a few finished makes popping up. If I could have hand picked a first finished selection of Rumi Tanks, it'd be really close to this group. Tanks sewn for casual wear; tanks sewn for workout wear; dresses sewn for casual wear; and dresses sewn in slightly dressier knits. Amazing!
I had hoped that people would see this pattern for the full range of possibilities, and I'm so glad that it actually worked! For me it really can go from yoga class to a nice dinner out. Not the same garment mind you, but the same pattern. Making it a very worthy investment of your time and resources.
So without further ado, here are the Rumi Tanks I found on the web. Each links to the original maker's post. Thanks to each of you for posting your finished makes publicly for us all to enjoy!
And if you need to get the Rumi Tank, it's on sale through Friday! So pick it up today!
