Emery Dress Update!

Things are crazy here in my studio as all the various elements of the Emery Dress patterns arrive and get put together and packaged up, but it's the greatest feeling in the world to see them get ready to head off to the post office and out into the world! Best hard work ever!

If you follow me on Instagram (@christinehaynes) you saw the big box of patterns arrive on Thursday and the last pieces arrive this week, so if you want to get in on the pre-sale, now is the time! All orders placed by end of day Tuesday (11:59pm PST) will ship out with all the pre-orders on Thursday. All orders placed Wednesday and beyond will ship starting Wednesday, October 16. (I'm taking a little holiday over the weekend... well deserved if you ask me!) So, if you want yours faster, I suggest you pre-order now! (If you're in the US, there's a chance you'll have it by the weekend! eeep!) Don't forget, the sew-along starts on October 21, so if you plan to participate, I'd get in on the pre-order shipping.

While you are patiently waiting for your pattern to arrive, you can get started on your fabric buying by following the back of the envelope stats below. I rebranded all my patterns with this launch, replacing the photo on the cover with an illustration, so now they all match this beautiful design. I hope you like it! Simply follow the size chart and finished measurements to select your material requirements.

Lastly, as announced earlier, I am teaching an Emery Dress class at Sew L.A. starting in late November, and I am happy to say that 5 of the 6 spots are already filled! So if you're interested in taking it, this is your warning! Only one spot left, so click here to go sign up now!

Thank you all again SO much for the generous welcome of the Emery Dress. I am totally overwhelmed by the response and cannot believe that hundreds of them are going out all over the world this week. When you make yours up, remember to please hashtag it with #christinehaynespatterns on Instagram and/or include it in the Christine Haynes Patterns group on Flickr. That way I can see your beautiful creations! Thank you!!!
