One of the great things about the open call for Emery Dress pattern testers that I posted on my blog a bit ago was that a lot of the ladies that came forward were new to me. I met and learned about a whole host of awesome blog ladies whom I am now reading and that I now can say are both testers and friends.
It is through the testing that I have been lucky enough to get to know the insanely kind Lauren, of the blog Rosie Wednesday. I'll be honest, I went to each and every blog for each and every pattern tester, because I wanted the style of the dress to fit as best it could to the lady making it. Everyone has their own thing and this dress might not be for you. That I get! I am not a pants and shirts kind of gal, so if I were testing a pattern, it doesn't make a lot of sense to have me test pants. So when I saw Lauren's blog, it was a slam dunk because this dress was absolutely designed for her!
If you haven't seen her blog, you need to do so immediately! She is very prolific and makes the most adorable vintage-inspired outfits. I knew that she and my Emery Dress would be a match made in heaven!
Lauren has not only made this super cute version for my testing, and wrote about it here on her blog, but I know that she's also got one in the bag for the Fall for Cotton sew-along that is going on right now, and I also know that she has a lot more up her sleeve, including a giveaway! So you should absolutely subscribe to her feed and keep your eyes peeled to her site because there is more coming!
Thank you so much Lauren for being an incredible tester and lovely woman! You rock!!!
