Vacation Recap

Last weekend my BFF's and I spent some quality time in Palm Springs and Joshua Tree. It was some much needed R&R and not only did I need it for myself, I also was long overdue to bond with my awesome lady friends. We all met in Los Angeles and hit up Trader Joe's for some groceries. On the way to the desert, we stopped at the famous Hadley's for date shakes and other treats.

The Saguaro in Palm Springs is quite possibly the most photogenic place I've ever stayed. We were looking for something not too rowdy and not too stuffy and this fit the bill perfectly. The room came with a fridge so we were able to eat healthy and cheap for lunch and breakfast. We treated ourselves to nice dinners out, but snacked our way throughout the rest of the day. I totally recommend it!

In Joshua Tree we stayed at the famous Joshua Tree Inn, where musicians like Donovan and Gram Parsons used to stay (and died). It was perfectly rustic and was nice base for seeing the park, the local swap meet, and some in-room crafting.

After returning home, we hit goodies like the Sprinkles Cupcake ATM and the garment district, where we got loads of cute inexpensive fabrics.

Things here are now back to business as usual and I'm back to some hard work in the studio! If you want to see even more photos, check out my Instagram feed and the #tll2 hashtag. Have a great weekend!
